Textiles Fun

One of our fantastic KS3 students has been very busy with her Textiles work at home. This student from 3CO, followed Miss G’s video Tutorial, with the help of her mum, to Tie dye using natural products and transformed her white t-shirt! She used string to create beautiful circle patterns and changed the colour to orange/yellow using the spice turmeric. Before learning from home, 3CO used synthetic dyes with Miss O’Reilly, this student has been able to practice and develop the skills she previously learnt in school.

What wonderful work and I bet she had so much fun!
