Post 16 in the sun
Last week we took 35 students and 9 staff to Church Farm holiday village for a week’s holiday. We were lucky with the weather with the first 2 days very hot and the whole week dry and sunny. On Monday 14th May 3CO went to London. It was a very sunny and lovely day. It was also our friends 13th birthday. 3CO travelled by train with Miss O'Connor, Mrs Smith and Mrs Hennessey. We left school at 10:30 and didn't return until 3:00. We all had a good time, my favourite part was eating lunch on the grass by the London Eye. It was superb and massive. This is the written Report by one of the students on the day!

Over the last term some of our post 16 students have been attending work related days. These meetings allow learners to gain further understanding to possible opportunities out there as well as have the opportunity to practice their own skills in the workplace, including interview techniques. These days are informative and fun even the teachers get involved!
Is taking shape with a lot of hard work put in by the Post 16 students. Soo we are hoping that many of the ingredients w that are cooked by the students will come from the allotment.
Helping out at Walpole
Last week 4LB took part in a project to maintain the gardens at Walpole Park. Along with other volunteers they dug holes and planted small plants and then helped tidy away equipment using wheelbarrows. Pupils enjoyed the trip out and loved seeing the beautiful fountains and flowers.

On Tuesday 3CO walked to John Chiltern to play football against Pield Heath and John Chiltern schools. They did very well beating Pield Heath 8-0 and narrowly losing to John Chiltern 4-3. There were some great goals from Aiyan Khan and Salman Said. Well done.
