As part of their curriculum for work experience in the community, 5JG work on our Belvue allotment developing their communication, horticultural and team work skills. It is a beautiful space for our students and they work extremely hard there. The changes they will make during the changing seasons will be amazing.

Work Related Learning
Today in Work Related Learning one young lady worked really hard on her transition review, talking about herself and what she wants to do in her future and then writing it down independently. As a reward, not only she got a house point, she actually got to hold Oki, our youngest addition to Belvue with only 8 weeks. She was extremely careful and responsible, well done!!

Enrichment with 5BS and FP
In Enrichment, 5BS with FP and Bonnie made a sculpture of a tree reusing a paper bag. They cut leaves and also used autumn leaves that they collected on their autumn walk to the park. They developed their awareness on the importance of trees and looking after the environment by reusing and recycling for our lives.

3CW Weekly Mindfulness Mile
During our Weekly Mindfulness Mile, 3CW found a snail and they were worried someone may tread on it. So 3CW decided to adopt Sammy the Snail and put it outside their classroom to keep it safe. Another student thought the clouds looked beautiful behind the church at the top of Belvue Park.

KS3 Football
KS3 boys played their first league game this Wednesday at Rectory Park. They lost 1 and won 2 scoring some great team goals with Caleb Flynn receiving player of the match. Well done boys.
