4WP- ENGLISH As a part of the WJEC accreditation, our class have been studying the film ,“Annie”. We have been focusing on CHARACTERS and EVENTS. In our lessons this term, we have been exploring all of the main events in the film and creating tableaux (frozen pictures) wearing costumes to help learners understand the main events more and to discuss th e different characters in the film. This week, Oak 4 have begun to put our scrap-book together in order to capture the memories that we share during our VT time. There is lots for us to do in the next term including organising our Santa’s grotto for the Xmas bazaar, going on a trip for one of our students Jack Petchy award and celebrating lots of birthdays in the next few months. KS3 and KS4 boys took part in the Panathlon football event. Both teams did exceptionally well and won the competition in their age groups. They now go through to the finals at Wembley in November. Well done boys!
