Students in 5JG are undertaking a Princes Trust unit in ''. They learn about the benefits of exercise and how to keep fit. They enjoy using the gym and playing other sports outside in the Muga like football and basketball. Students learn about team work and good sportsmanship.
5FP played games. They enjoyed table bowling, miming games, shared and discussed what it is to be a good a friend looking at cards in their friendship boxes and enjoyed cake they found inside their friendship boxes!
On Tuesday a group from Belvue college went on a trip to Holland Park Apiary to see and learn about honey bees. The weather was very wet and rainy but the students were resilient and cheerful. We met up with beekeepers from the London Beekeeping Association. The hives could not be opened in the rain so we viewed bees in an observation hive and tried on bee suits. It was a great way to start the year!
This week 3CW visited Belvue library. We looked at different books and read to each other. We really enjoyed this book because it has lots of activities as well. We liked Martin’s bright hair and his messy T-shirt.
