TRIPS

Trips and experiences out of the classroom and past the school gates are an essential part of school life. They not only enhance what is learnt in the classroom but also give students opportunity to see and experience the wider world and put into practice a range of independence and social skills.

 

Some trips will be for a specific classor tutor group based on a topic or particular piece of work, and some trips might be for the whole school such as the seaside or theatre to give students a new experience or to spend some well deserved enjoyment time together at the end of a term. The cost of school trips is often heavily subsidised by school fundraising or special grants applied for by the school.
