Partnerships with the Community
Community partnerships are essential for the development of our students and their future well-being. Not only do the partnerships enrich learning activities they also provide meaningful opportunities for students to acquire social skills and confidence outside of school. These are essential skills for young people to have, especially for those with special needs, in order to be able to access community resources and services independently or know where to go to for help and support.
The school has partnerships with the NHS Trust, Hanwell zoo, Horsenden Farm, Clementina Day Care Centre, Welshore Community Hub, The Litten Nature Reserve, Mencap, Catalyst Housing Association and many more. The school is always keen to develop further links and provide as many opportunities for students to integrate into the community as possible. Our partnerships in the community form valuable work experience opportunities for our learners. If your organsition can offer any activity, visit, insight, interaction or even work experience we would be delighted to hear from you.
