PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE COMMUNITY 2021/22
Community partnerships are essential for the development of our students and their future well-being. Not only do the partnerships enrich learning activities, they also provide meaningful opportunities for students to acquire social skills and confidence outside of school. These are essential skills for young people to have, especially for those with special needs, in order to be able to access community resources and services independently or know where to go for help and support.
The school has partnerships with the NHS Trust, Horsenden Farm, The Litten Nature Reserve, Haverlock, Welshore Community Hub, Mencap, and many more. The school is always keen to develop further links and provide as many opportunities for students to integrate into the community as possible. Our partnerships in the community form valuable work experience opportunities for our learners. If your organisation can offer any activity, visit, insight, interaction or even work experience we would be delighted to hear from you.
