POST 16 CELEBRATION PROM

At the end of the year, Post 16 students get the opportunity to attend a wonderful Prom event. This year students were taken by a London Routemaster Bus, which is always great fun, to the exclusive QVardis Venue in Uxbridge. Students had a fabulous time dancing into the evening and enjoying great food. In 2016 (and again in 2017 as they liked it so much) students went to the lovely Masti Dinner and Dance Club in Wembley.  In 2015 students travelled in style in hummer limousines to the South African Shakazulu restaurant in Camden Town. In 2014 students rode a London Routemaster Bus to dine at a Chinese restaurant facing Tower Bridge and the list goes on.

These are truly special occasions that students can look forward to at the end of their time at Belvue, as well as a much needed celebration at the end of a hard-working college year.

BELVUE PROM 2021

This year’s Post 16 Leavers’ Prom encountered many ups and downs (including a large number of students unable to attend due to self-isolation), before finally going ahead at the college site.

The students were thrilled by the blue and white land rovers that were laid on for their enjoyment.

The menu was extremely extensive (from amazing curries, to wraps and burgers) and was independently chosen by the students. It was catered by a local venue (that we had originally booked to attend)…and everyone loved it!

The evening concluded with a fun disco and karaoke and students sang and danced till the end. As usual no one wanted the evening to finish, but they received their colourful prom goody bags and said their goodbyes, through tears of sadness with promises of return visits.

BELVUE GRADUATION 2021

This year Belvue College said goodbye to 31 leavers. The event was held at the main site once again, due to the ongoing situation. Students were able to watch themselves on film change from young boys and girls to mature young men and women.

It was an emotional time for many and they gave confident speeches expressing their thanks and highlighting their favourite times at Belvue.

Students and their families were able to take beautiful photos of their child in their graduation gowns and to share memories, while eating wonderfully prepared food and drinks.

Our leavers will be moving on to a number of different places in September 2021 e.g. Ealing College, Green Corridor, Supported Internships and Southall College, (which will all be available to view on our Website in the new term).
