Students at school have been getting stuck into some singing and performing to the rest of the students each morning. Students selected their own choices of songs and were accompanied by Mr Chambers at the piano. We have had performances of songs by Ed Sheeran, Spencer Lee, Ellie Goulding, Elvis Presley, Ariana Grande, Chicken Little, Lil Nas X, The Cars and Zendaya. Well done to all those students who have shown such bravery standing up and singing in front of the other stud
This KS3 student continues to impress Miss O’Reilly with all the effort she is putting into her DT home learning. She has used a range of stitches including, running stitch, whip stitch and cross stitch to create her cute fabric monster – isn’t it wonderful!! KS3 students continue to practice their sewing skills at home by learning how to sew different stitches. It is important to practice so we can build our confidence and make wonderful textile products…keep your eyes peeled to see what these guys make next week. They will be using their new knowledge of different stitches to help them. I bet they are going to be amazing after all this practice!
A few students discussed what was needed to make smoothies. We used milk, frozen berries and some brown sugar. We added our ingredients into a blender and then blitzed to create a delicious berry smoothie. We found the smoothies to be very cold and also tasted the seeds!
