Science Week in 4MP

We have had so much fun in 4MP this year during Science week. We designed our own bugs.

We started by learning about the different bugs, if they have legs, wings, if their bodies are hard or soft and why.

Then each pupil designed their own bug in paper, looking at those qualities and deciding for themselves, including number of legs, eyes, wings if any and the colours of each body part.

Once designed, we made them using coloured modelling clay and some other bits, like eyes.
