3CW Looking at Local Landscapes

3CW have been studying Aboriginal Dot Art this half term.

Aboriginal/Indigenous art is centred on story telling. It can be used to create maps or to show events and beliefs of the Aboriginal people.

3CW has enjoyed this topic and have transferred these skills learnt to portray their local area. 3CW have focused on a natural area opposite, Belvue Park and a man-made area known as Northala Hills.
