Building Update!

Update on building work!

The concrete frame construction is complete, except for the removal of the shuttering to the roof, Osborne will continue to remove the shuttering and replace with back propping next week. The builders will be drilling the holding down bolts for the steelwork for the first few days of next week which will make some noise, but we are trying to prepare the students for this. The noise mainly effects the playground area. The lovely red crane that we have enjoyed watching will leave site on Saturday morning.

For health and safety reasons, Osborne will be fitting timber hoarding around the hall glazing next week to protect the windows and the pupils in the hall whilst Osborne are lifting in and fixing the steel frame around the hall using a large mobile crane. This will impact on the amount of natural light that is able to come into the hall for about a three week period.
