Fun with maths!

In May 5SP went to Northala Hills for a map reading activity. Students were required to locate landmarks & amenities at Northala Hills using a 10x10 grid reference map they created in class. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we had to navigate our way back to school.

During the first two weeks of Summer Term, Post 16 students were studying measuring. In this photo, 5BS students are weighing specific weights of various classroom objects & then calculating the total weight. As all students in 5BS did exceptionally well at this task, why not bake a cake with them at home!
