We encourage students to experience, explore and engage with various aspects of yoga, such as: physical practice, mindfulness movement, coherent breathing techniques and meditation. By placing an emphasis on individual abilities rather than competition we can develop independent life skills in a nurturing, compassionate and empathetic environment.

Curriculum Impact:

In preparation for adulthood our students will:

​

  • improve their social-emotional learning which will help them to achieve positive academic outcomes.

​

  • acquire tools to reduce and cope with any level of stress, anxiety, depression or negative emotions and develop techniques for anger management.

​

  • enhance their health and physical fitness; sleep; well-being; mental state; emotional resilience; self-esteem and confidence.

​

  • have a basic knowledge of  the body’s anatomy and the importance of a healthy seasonal nutrition.
