All contractors and visitors to the school must present a copy of their DBS certificate and Photo ID to the school upon arrival of their first visit in order to be added to the school's central record(SCR). Failure to do so will mean that individual will need to be escorted throughout their entire visit. Agencies and companies engaged by the school must provide evidence that they follow safer recruitment practices to our HR Manager.

 

The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs K Waterton (Deputy Head).

 

The Deputy Safeguarding Leads are Mrs S Bhopal (Headteacher), Mr P Banks (Assistant Head), Mr T O'Rourke (Assistant Head), Mr P Peterson (Assistant Head), Ms A Heaney (Assistant Head), Mr D O'Brien (Family Worker) and Ms E Niles (Family Worker). The Lead Governor for Safeguarding is Ms A Blair.

 

Staff must implement the school safeguarding policy and failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

All staff have read the Keeping Children Safe in Education: Part 1 Guidance September 2025 and the last whole school safeguarding training took place in September 2025.
