3PM Visited Belazu Ingredient Company

On Monday 19^th, 3PM walked to Belazu Ingredient Company in Greenford. They had the opportunity to explore different ingredients from all around the world! They observed raw ingredients being prepared from the start to the packaging. 3PM were shown how the raw ingredients were arrived at the factory in various large tubs and packaging. The instructor explained why the food was sent to the factory in various containers. They then went onto the factory floor and watched pesto being made. 3PM then went and saw the quality control department. The lady explained how all batches had to be tested for consistency of taste. They then went to the packaging department and were shown different types of packaging that various companies require from large tubs to bottled jars for supermarkets. Afterwards, 3PM had the exciting time to taste the products and decide which was their favourite! And finally, they had a Q&A session around the various jobs that could be done around the factory from production line worker to being part of the sales team :)
