Two buildings become one

Dear school community,

Despite the delay to the completion of the new building to 25th November, when the school will start the process of moving, progress continues on site. Over the summer holidays extensive work to the old building was completed including the integrated corridor between the new and old building. Work was completed to the school kitchen to provide a new servery counter into the new café area. The first aid and laundry room was also upgraded. This week work has continued on the brick work to all elevations. Internal fit is ongoing and the 2nd fix Joinery has started on Level 1. The installations of the ceiling to the ground floor is near completion. Roofing works to the lower flat roof’s is also underway. Disruption to the school and young people has been minimal.
