World Book Day

March 12, 2018

This Thursday 15th March Belvue High School will be celebrating World Book Day. It is a celebration of reading, books and authors, celebrated in over 100 countries.

To mark the occasion, everyone will need to come to school in fancy dress, as a famous book character.

Previous years have seen students and staff dress up from books such as:

  • Harry Potter

  • Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

  • Horrid Henry

  • Where’s Wally

  • Lord of the Rings

  • Mr Men/Little Miss

  • Dennis the Menace

  • Superhero comics

  • … and your own ideas!

Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed male and female student.

More information on World Book Day can be found on the website
