On the 26th April 5BS hosted 4SW at the Litten nature reserve in Greenford. When 4SW arrived they were greeted and offered tea and biscuits. After refreshments, the rules and expectations of the Litten were explained. Then 5BS demonstrated how to use the various garden tools before taking their younger schoolmates on a tour of the site. 4SW then spent time honing their skills digging, shoveling, pushing a wheelbarrow, raking and cutting back branches as they helped to keep the Litten a beautiful place to observe nature. They headed back to school very tired but happy.
