3DE and 5SP Foodie Friday in the woods

On Friday the 2 classes joined forces to prepare and cook a feast. 3DE prepared and cut vegetables and meat, spread tomato paste on pizza basses then added toppings to create 10 delicious pizzas! 5SP cut up vegetables and chicken and made lots of vegetarian and chicken skewers. The skewers were cooked on a fire in the woods. 

 

Along with salads, fizzy drinks and juice the food was enjoyed by the 2 classes out in the woods (with enough spare to share with other teachers!)

 

In the afternoon 3DE enjoyed their dessert of ice cream sundaes adding their choice of sauce, a flake, sprinkles and a cherry on top!
