Science Week


Science Week 2015 – 2016

Every year we celebrate the importance of Science in our lives and last week the whole school celebrated the theme of “Discovery” in Science Week.

During Science Week the school timetable is suspended and, instead, each teacher runs an interactive science activity based around that year’s theme. The students have three sessions a day every day for a week, giving them the opportunity to experience up to 15 different activities.

Class teachers amazed and enthralled students with the range of activities on offer; from soap making to erupting volcanoes; mug cakes to lava lamps; slime making to making their own bouncy balls!

This year’s Science Week was the best yet! I can prove it, have a look at the happy faces in the photos below!
