4LB and 4TOR went to Parliament and took part in the workshop Laws & Debating as part of PSHE lesson. The aim was to acquire knowledge about house of the UK Parliament and check the work of Government. Oh and of course have fun!
Students run and jumped their way through this exciting and fun Athletics tournament at the Local track. Joining in with other schools the students had a great time competing and bringing back some medals, well done!
The group of students that went on the Duke of Edinburgh practice this week did Belvue proud. They walked many miles and succeeded in setting up camp for the night.. well done guys keep it up and lets hope for good weather for your final expedition.
Work has moved swiftly on in the spring term, the woodland classroom is taking great form which the students are so excited to see. They have been commenting on the shape and size of the building they all seem to like the roof the most! It's great to see their excitement, I know the staff are equally excited to see the finished classroom!
Today and tomorrow some of our young people are taking the challenge of doing the Duke of Edinburgh Expedition. They have been training for this event since September and have learned how to set up a tent and cook their own food on a camping stove. They will walk more than 10 miles over 2 days and will camp overnight in tents. We are very proud of our young people for being so brave and attempting something out of their comfort zone and experience. Generally about 20 of our
